The foam distribution system

The foam distribution system is linked to 2 foam tanks with a capacity of 16.000 liters of foam each.

The foam distribution system is linked by way of dedicated pipelines to each tank of the depot and to the 4 firefighting towers located on pier n. 27 and n. 28.

Every tank of the depot that is authorized for flammable liquids storage is equipped with internal foam valve.

All truck and railcars loading bays within the depot are equipped with a fire fighting foam line that comes from a dedicated foam tank, with the capacity to supply enough foam to cover all the loading bays.

Each boundwall for flammable products is internally equipped with fire fighting foam nozzles.
