The terminal DEPOSITI COSTIERI DEL TIRRENO is conveniently located in Livorno at 21, Dello Scolmatore street and it is a brand new installation all dedicated to the storage and handling of petrochemicals products, with an overall storage capacity of 21.700 cubic meters, divided as follows:
- nr. 4 mild steel tanks of 1.140 cubic meters capacity each;
- nr. 5 stainless steel tanks of of 1.500 cubic meters capacity each;
- nr. 1 mild steel tank of 9.440 cubic meters capacity;
- nr. 1 stainless steel slop tank of 200 cubic meters capacity.
The depot, that was built in 2006 in partnership with one of the oldest customers of the group, is working under total automatisation and is run by 4 operators, with the following performaces:
HANDLING IN of products coming from the vessels’ discharges by means of 2 discharging pipelines in stainless steel of 8″ and 12″ respectively that link the terminal to the NERI DEPOSITI COSTIERI terminal mooring facilities;
HANDLING OUT of products on 3 truck loading bays – bottom loading operated and directly weightbridged – with the possibility of simoultaneous loading of each product on all of them.
The site is working as an indepedent unit – apart from its connection for the vessels operation to the NERI DEPOSITI COSTIERI terminal facilities, that are run 24 hrs. per day 7 days per week – and it is open from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last truck to be presented at the terminal before 4:30 p.m). only Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and from 01:00 p.m. to 02:40 p.m. (last truck to be presented at the terminal before 02:00 p.m). It is ISO 9000 and A&O certified and CDI – T assessed.
