Parbuckling AMT Explorer Piombino

July 2014. Parbuckling and salvage of capsized AMT EXPLORER , Barge 90 x 30, in Piombino, Tuscany . Barge capsized in south west Sardinia while transporting a cable Cargo reel of 7000 ton for the company Prysmian towards Rotterdam. In severe conditions barge capsized and lost cargo. Our  AHTS Nos Aries 70 tons Bollard Pull, LOA 60 mts arrived on site and towed the capsized barge to Piombino for over 300 nautical miles:

In Piombino roads NERI carried out parbuckling by means of ITALIA sheerlegs in cooperation with SMIT SALVAGE.
