San Giorgio e Neri sbarcano a Piombino

They founded the company that will build the terminal for ship dismantling and refitting.

It’s called Piombino Maritime Industries and was formed about a month ago the company to organize and manage the complex dedicated to ship dismantling, maintenance and refitting in Tuscany.

The new company is made up in equal parts by the Genovese San Giorgio del Porto (which is handling the demolition of the Costa Concordia with Saipem) and Livorno NERI. “NERI and San Giorgio amply meet the requirements,” said the extraordinary commissioner of the Piombino Port Authority Luciano Guerrieri.
